OfficeOne: Screen Saver: Information

OfficeOne Screen Saver uses Microsoft Office PowerPoint to show your PowerPoint slide shows as screen savers. It does not convert your PowerPoint presentations for displaying as screen savers but rather uses PowerPoint directly to display the slide shows on different monitors simultaneously. Since it uses PowerPoint for displaying your slide shows, you can use the complete set of PowerPoint animations, transitions, video embedded and other PowerPoint features as screen saver.

Among other uses, this is ideal for displaying slide shows as screen savers in reception areas, fitness rooms, etc. You can drive all the slide shows from a single PC. You can equip the PC with additional display outputs using the widely available USB VGA display adapters that allow you to connect your displays to the USB slots on your PC.

By default, keyboard interactivity is not enabled when a screen saver is running. When you use your keyboard, the screen saver terminates. With OfficeOne Screen Saver, you can enable keyboard for PowerPoint slide shows that require keyboard interactivity during screen savers. In such cases, you can exit the screen saver by pressing the Ctrl+Alt+Esc key combination.

By default, mouse interactivity is not enabled when a screen saver is running. When you use your mouse, the screen saver terminates. With OfficeOne Screen Saver, you can enable mouse for PowerPoint slide shows that require mouse interactivity during screen savers.

Screen savers can be configured to run when the screen is locked. Using OfficeOne Screen Saver, you can run your slide shows in locked screens.

OfficeOne Screen Saver supports all the monitors that are connected to the system. You can configure as many slide shows to be displayed simultaneously as the number of monitors.
