Span a slide show across 2 monitors
The hardware setup includes a primary monitor and a secondary monitor connected to the computer. With PowerShow, you can span a slide show across 2 monitors.
The following configuration steps show how to configure PowerShow to do that:
  1. Open the presentation (say, Pres.ppt) in Microsoft PowerPoint.
  2. Select Slide Show tab, clear the Use Presenter View box.
  3. Select Slide Show | Power Show item.

  4. On the Presentations tab, select your Pres.ppt <Slide Show> in the first row and 2 monitors.
  5. Click Start Show button.
Notes:
  1. Slide Shows that span multiple monitors need to be designed for such setups. For spanning slide show across 2 monitors, ensure that the slides have appropriate aspect ratio (Width : Height). If the monitor has an aspect ratio of 4:3, then for 2 monitors, the aspect ratio will be 8:3.
  2. Configure the slide aspect ratio through the Design tab, Page Setup button. For 2 monitors each with 4:3 aspect ratio, select On-screen Show (4:3) in the Slides sized for box and then double preset width in the Width box to change the slide dimension to match your 2 monitor setup.
  3. Note that these slide dimension changes need to be made before including content on the slides.
