I would like to show 2 presentations on 4 monitors. Each monitor has a resolution of
1600 x 1200. Each slide show should span vertically: the slide shows
would be 1600 pixels wide by 2400 pixels tall. How do I achieve this
configuration through
PowerShow.
The following configuration steps will enable you to set this environment:
- In Windows, open Display Properties: Either
- Right-click on your desktop and select Properties, or
- Select Start | Control Panel menu item, and launch
Display applet.
- Select Settings tab.
- Arrange the 4 monitors in the following order:

- Click OK.
- Launch PowerPoint. Open both your presentations (say, Presentation1.ppt
and Presentation2.ppt).
- Select Slide Show tab, clear the Use Presenter View box.
- Select Slide Show | Power Show item.
- Select Presentation1.ppt <Slide Show> across 2 monitors in
first row.
- Select Presentation2.ppt <Slide Show> across 2 monitors in
second row.
- Click Start Show button.
These configuration steps enable you to display Presentation1.ppt vertically
on monitor 1 and 2 and Presentation2.ppt on monitor 3 and 4. The key point to
note is that the monitors are configured as vertical in Windows.
